Coates & Seely at the Palaces

This is a view of the Orangery at Kensington Palace. Designed in 1704 by Nicholas Hawksmoor and later enhanced by Vanbrugh as a summer supper-house, the building was restored in 2017 and now houses a wonderful restaurant that is also available for private dining.

This Easter, and throughout the summer, Coates & Seely will be hosting a pop-up bar on the terrace of the Orangery, serving Coates & Seely sparkling wines by the glass for lunch, tea and dinner on the terrace. We have been exclusive sparkling wine suppliers to the Historic Royal Palaces for ten years now and are delighted to be partnering with them in such a uniquely elegant setting.  We would encourage our Friends of Coates & Seely to drop by.

Finally, having had our wines served at Buckingham Palace for the State Visit of Emperor Naruhito of Japan last Summer, our wines were on parade again at the Palace at the year-end for the annual dinner for the Ambassadors and High Commissioners to the Court of St James, hosted by the King.

Looking towards Easter, now only a week away, Coates & Seely is still flowing by the glass at The Clubhouse, Putney Embankment after this year’s 195th Oxford v Cambridge Boat race. Do drop by to celebrate/commiserate with our sparkling wine –

‘In victory deserved, in defeat needed.’
