The Perfect Harvest
None of us can recall quite so perfect a viticultural year as 2025.
No late spring frosts. A perfect flowering in June. Followed by a long, dry and hot summer.
We harvested in September, some three weeks earlier than we have ever picked before. Beautifully ripe fruit, with a stunning taste profile, but still with that thrilling dash of fine acidity that is the hallmark of great sparkling wine grapes.
It’s shaping up to be the finest vintage year yet and as the first fermentations are now complete the winery is warm with the bready scent of young wine, full of promise…


No sooner is the harvest complete and the first fermentations over than Christmas is upon us.
The Peninsula Hotel celebrated Advent with its annual Christmas tree lighting ceremony and lashings of Coates & Seely.
Outside, the central courtyard was turned into a winter wonderland, complete with falling snow, steaming bowls of delicious risotto, magical sweet shops and stunning shows of winter floristry, populated by hundreds of the hotel’s grateful and delighted partners and guests.



On the subject of hospitality served to the highest degree of excellence, we are proud to have been chosen by Maison Estelle as their English sparkling wine house-pour. Housed in a Grade 1 listed 7-floor London Townhouse in Mayfair, and with a sister establishment – Estelle Manor – in the Oxfordshire countryside, this new Private Members’ Club has set new standards in the category and is an exceptionally exciting addition to London’s unrivalled collection of iconic members’ clubs.
